Honeywell’s embedded network video recorder (NVR) gives small-to-mid-size businesses more options for upgrading their surveillance systems. The NVR comes with four ball or bullet cameras in ready-to-install kits, part of Honeywell’s Performance Series Line. The bundled kits enable dealers to more-easily create networked systems for customers that have traditionally used digital video recorders (DVR). The kits are ideal for businesses, such as small retailers, looking for more affordable ways to upgrade to high-quality, end-to-end IP video systems. Additional features include Power-over-Ethernet for simplified installation and programmable e-mail alerts to warn business owners of network failures or motion detection.
