The AvaLAN Wireless AW58800 product family are 5.8 GHz Outdoor 800 Mbps Ethernet Radios that provide Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint connections and are Mesh capable. These high speed, line-of-sight, 800 Mbps radios are capable of reaching up to 30 miles. These are used to link “fringe” IP devices such as video surveillance cameras needing robust and secure high data rates. Utilizing state of the art MIMO technology, this product achieves a very high data rate through a combination of multiple spacial streams and higher level OFDM modulation.
