Aliso Viejo, CA, USA 1 August 2017 – KBC Networks will feature its new generation of ThruLink products on booth #1909 at ASIS 2017. ThruLink allows real-time, encrypted video, audio and data to be transmitted over public networks such as the internet or 3G/4G/LTE.
Already in use by police, military, counter-terror, transportation and banking organizations, the secure, hardware VPN device enables users to take full advantage of public infrastructure while maintaining signal security. Applications for ThruLink include streaming secure, live video to and from emergency vehicles; sending encrypted video, audio or data from remote sites, and large-scale, surveillance and traffic monitoring networks.
The family of ThruLink products includes standard and standard plus models for up to 4 cameras as well as high capacity and high capacity plus units that are designed for large-scale applications. The range also includes models with embedded 3G/4G/LTE. ThruLink features AES, Blowfish and Camellia encryption up to 256bit and provides multiple failover.
The ThruLink series has been designed for fast installation, simple management and minimal maintenance. The devices enable both master-slave and mesh networks to be established over any type of WAN and will fit within an existing network infrastructure without the need for network changes prior to installation. Management information enables users to identify location and status of all the ThruLink devices on a network via the web browser compatible user interface. If a network connection fails, there’s no need to send an engineer to site – if failover is set, ThruLink will switch to a secondary path, if not, ThruLink will poll the connection and automatically reconnect once it is re-established.
