Digitlocks Inc. introduces the new DIGIT DL1230 electronic cam lock designed for use on lockers, cabinets, drawers and a variety of other storage enclosures. The DIGIT DL1230 is an easy new installation or retrofit to a standard cam lock preparation. It incorporates a modular spindle that can be changed in the field to allow for mounting the lock on doors from thin sheet metal all the way to 1-inch-thick material. The lock is shipped with both straight and offset cams plus installation and programming instructions. The unit also includes a mechanical key cylinder that provides a backup method to unlock the lock if all else fails. Also included is an easy-to-use set of external battery contacts for a 9V battery to power up the lock in case of internal battery failure.
