DoorKing®, an industry leader in Access Control and Vehicular Gate Operating Systems, is introducing a new housing for its popular 1830 Series of Telephone Entry Systems. The new housing style simplifies installation and allows installers to meet any installation requirement; wall mount, flush mount or post mount.
The new housing offers a streamlined look, has enhanced locking and weather sealing and provides easy internal installation of optional components such as a card reader, LCD heater and TCP/IP adapters. The 1830 Series Telephone Entry Systems provide control of up to three doors or gates and can be expanded to control up to 48 doors or gates. Connection to the system can be by cellular, internet or by a plain old telephone service (POTS) line, but we don’t recommend POTS line connections anymore because of phone line maintenance and modem issues.
The new housing was designed for mounting directly to a wall or gooseneck post. An optional protective hood can easily be added for additional protection against sunlight and vandalism. If flush mount is desired, adding the flush mount kit is all that is needed.
