Gigamon, a deep observability company, announced two key leadership appointments, with Tony Jarjoura, CPA, promoted to CFO and Ram Bhide hired as Senior Vice President of Engineering. The executive appointments advance the company’s growth strategy as demand for the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline accelerates on a global scale for large organizations seeking to secure and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure with greater ease, efficiency, and effectiveness.
As newly appointed CFO, Jarjoura will lead the global finance team and accounting operations, reporting to Shane Buckley, President and CEO. Jarjoura joined Gigamon in 2020 and has held the positions of Vice President of Revenue Operations, Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, and most recently as interim CFO. Prior to joining Gigamon, he was a Senior Manager at EY, serving high-tech growth companies in its assurance practice. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of San Francisco.
“Tony brings a unique combination of operational insight, financial acumen, and leadership to the CFO role, with a deep understanding of our business, technology, and channel strategy,” said Buckley. "His continued oversight of our financial portfolio and global finance operations will be instrumental as we continue to scale and further strengthen our position in the cybersecurity marketplace."
Bhide will lead the company's product engineering teams across software and hardware to deliver outcome-driven deep observability solutions, reporting to Chief Product and Development Officer Michael Dickman. Prior to joining Gigamon, Ram served as Associate Vice President of Software Engineering at Arista Networks, where he led the development of next-generation security solutions to expand the company’s product portfolio. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering and Customer Advocacy at SDN pioneer Pluribus Networks, which was acquired by Arista.
Prior to these roles, Ram spent more than 20 years in various engineering and software development roles, including as Vice President of Engineering overseeing flagship products at Cisco. Ram holds five technology patents and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
“Ram has a strong track record of engineering innovation and execution in infrastructure and cybersecurity,” said Dickman. “His leadership and expertise will be instrumental as our global development and quality teams continue to address the most critical cybersecurity challenges in today’s hybrid cloud environments with our deep observability pipeline.”
