You can get a wide range of seminars in the conference rooms around ISC West next week in Las Vegas, from training on surveillance to business management and a lot more. You can also wander the aisles and sit in at a booth theater to catch up on a firm's latest product line. However, one firm is merging the two concepts by providing in-booth seminars. Video analytics firm ioimage said this week that it is hosting short seminars inside a room in the company's building-like booth at ISC West.
The companies seminars are free and will last approximately 30 minutes each in what Vice President of Marketing Dvir Doron calls "bite-sized" seminars. According to Doron, there will be four different focuses offered, on topics ranging from how to get started with analytics, how dealers and integrators can profit from analytics, benefits to a company's security needs and more.
The problem, says Doron, is that "many dealers, consultants and end-users do not fully grasp the concept of video analytics and how it can benefit their business." Since the space for the in-booth seminars is limited, the company is asking interested persons to register at the company's website.
In addition to the in-booth seminars, the company will also be participating in a standard ISC conference session at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, on the topic of "Moving Video Analytics onto IP Edge Devices." Check ISCWest.com for details on the conference's seminar tracks.
