The Genetec Security Center seamlessly merges Genetec’s Omnicast IP video surveillance system and Synergis IP access control systems into a single platform. The solution gives end-users the scalability of an all-in-one platform, the simplicity of a task-based user interface and a variety of features for both video and access control. Features include Microsoft Active Directory integration for synchronizing users and cardholders, system partitioning for multi-tenant applications and Federation for designing virtual systems consisting of hundreds of remote video and access control systems. Common operator workflows such as alarm management and report generation have been standardized for access and video, ensuring a high level of operator efficiency.
