At a packed awards ceremony Wednesday on the ISC West show floor, the Security Industry Association (SIA) unveiled the winners of the 2025 SIA New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards. The annual program, presented in partnership with ISC West, honors cutting-edge advancements in security technology. Topping this year’s list of honorees was Vaidio, which claimed the 2025 Best New Product Award during the event at the Bridge Stage.
Since its launch in 1979, the SIA NPS Awards have been recognized as the security industry’s leading product awards program. In 2025, a panel of 38 expert judges evaluated the latest innovations before selecting winners across 33 product and service categories. This year’s award entries remain on display through Friday (April 4) at booth #25075, next to the Bridge Stage (#25059).
Vaidio received the Best New Product honor for its Vaidio 9.0 AI Vision Platform product, submitted in the Loss Prevention and Article Surveillance Solutions category.
According to the company, Vaidio 9.0 improves loss prevention by leveraging advanced artificial intelligence models, heuristic rules, and intelligent compute management to enhance theft detection and minimize inventory shrinkage. The platform’s integration of convolutional neural network (CNN), transformer, and vision-language models (VLM) models is designed to boost accuracy, optimize compute efficiency, and accelerate processing while seamlessly working with existing infrastructure.
The Judges’ Choice Award was presented to Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) for the SARA – AI Security Agent for Autonomous Threat Detection and Response product, submitted in the Threat Detection and Response Solutions category.
According to the company, SARA enhances global security operations centers and monitoring by shifting from passive surveillance to real-time, AI-driven engagement. The autonomous security agent is designed to detect threats, interact with individuals, verify intent, and escalate incidents when necessary. This approach aims to improve security efficiency, reduce operator fatigue, prevent missed events, and enable faster, more effective incident response across various environments.
Also of note, CyberLock was honored with the NPS Merit Award, which is presented to an individual or company that has shown dedicated support for the SIA NPS Awards. The recognition highlights contributions that further the program’s mission, enhance its success, and advance both SIA and the broader security industry.
“SIA congratulates all the winners of the 2025 SIA NPS Awards, and especially Vaidio and Robotic Assistance Devices, whose products stood out among the entries to earn the Best New Product and Judges’ Choice distinctions, as well as SIA NPS Merit Award winner CyberLock,” stated SIA CEO Don Erickson. “Each year, NPS presents the most cutting-edge products available on the market today, and our judges’ dedication, support and thorough consideration are invaluable in maintaining it as the most trusted awards program for launching new security technology solutions.”
