Company makes multiple acquisitions and renews NASCAR partnership

February was another busy month for Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, which saw the company acquire four more security integration companies, make two fire-related acquisitions, and renew a partnership with NASCAR.

Pye-Barker’s acquisition of Encore Technology Solutions marks the company’s initial foray into Arkansas, expanding its presence to 46 U.S. states. Encore was founded in 2020 in Little Rock, with just a single employee, and has grown to more than 30 people and two branches serving clients in eight states across the region.

"With Pye-Baker's resources and expertise, we will be able to deliver even greater value to our clients and scale our operations to new heights,” said Kris Kuykendall, Encore Managing Partner.

USA Security Services, a 47-year-old full-service fire protection and security integration provider based in Paramus, N.J., officially joined Pye-Barker on Feb. 12. The acquisition enhances Pye-Barker’s presence in New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida.

Secure Pacific and Sonitrol Pacific joined Pye-Barker on Feb. 20. Founded more than 45 years ago by Beau and Debra Bradley, the companies provide custom security system solutions in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

In the fire protection realm, Pye-Barker acquired Fire Science Techniques of Illinois, strengthening its fire and life safety specialized services offered to commercial kitchens. Pye-Barker also added Nebraska Safety and Fire Equipment, which specializes in fire sprinkler systems, security systems, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers for commercial customers.

Finally, Pye-Barker announced it will be a primary partner of the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE entry driven by John Hunter Nemechek for 14 events during the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. Pye-Barker will first appear on the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) on Sunday, March 2. Last season, when Nemechek and his green, blue, and white-themed Pye-Barker car hit the track, he scored three victories in the Xfinity Series.
