Newtown, PA – September 25, 2012 -- Optellios, Inc., an American owned, U.S.-based developer and manufacturer of advanced fiber-optic sensing and security systems, announces that Kevin Bradley has joined the company as Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Bradley will develop and deploy sales and marketing initiatives that will drive Optellios’ revenues.
Says David Smith, President & CEO, “Optellios is expected to grow exponentially over the next few years. We needed someone with a proven history of understanding our core markets and industry drivers, who could then build sales and marketing infrastructures that prove successful, time after time. Bradley is that person. His experiential knowledge will be of great benefit to Optellios.”
Throughout his 25+ year career, Bradley has served in a number of senior management positions including, most recently, President, North America at IndigoVision, Director of Sales, North America at OnSSI, and Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing, at DIGIOP Technologies. Says Bradley, “Optellios’ cutting-edge fiber-optic perimeter security solutions are positioned to lead the field in this fast-growing, high security industry sector. Our partnerships with leading VMS and Access providers, enable us to provide core technologies to our nation’s critical infrastructure, both public and private. I am excited to again have the opportunity to work with a technology leading company at the early growth stages of development.”
In addition, Optellios has also appointed Greg Williams Director, Finance & Accounting. Williams brings more than 15 years experience to Optellios, having served in various Finance and Accounting positions at organizations nationwide.
Prior to joining Optellios, Williams held positions including VP/Controller at FreedomPay, Inc., VP of Finance at Virgin Charter, Inc. (part of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group), Controller at California Cryobank, Inc. and Assistant Controller at Fandango, Inc. (A division of Comcast Interactive Media). He also consults for Cancer Support Community a 501(c)3 charitable organization, where he provides financial, accounting and business guidance.
David Smith, Optellios’ President & CEO, is pleased that Williams is aboard. Says Smith: “Optellios is on the verge of the largest phase of growth in the company’s history. Williams brings valued experience, knowledge, and a history of successfully developing financial protocols for companies on the brink of vast expansion. With Williams on board, we will be well prepared for that expansion.”
Williams is equally excited about Optellios’ future. Says Williams: “I’m thrilled to join such a strong organization in the Security Technology space. While Optellios has experienced steady growth in the past, the development that we’re experiencing now -- and that we see coming over the course of the next year -- commands a secure and robust Accounting and Finance infrastructure. I look forward to working with Optellios’ management team and hope to leverage my experience to bring value to the business
