Together, the ALLie Home 360-degree x 360-degree video surveillance camera and ALLie VR Headset deliver a live-streaming Virtual Reality monitoring experience so futuristic that it will forever change the face of video surveillance as we know it today.
Built on the same platform as the company's award-winning high-end IC720 model, ALLie is a compact, standalone unit that incorporates front and rear firing megapixel lenses (no moving parts). The camera is portable, sits atop a table or counter, or can be mounted to the ceiling. Leveraging Qualcomm’s performance-rich SnapDragon chipset, along with the incorporation of many software sensors and synchronizing both front and rear spheres together, the camera captures from floor-to-ceiling (360 vertically) and completely around itself (360 horizontally), granting a wholly-immersive, spherical monitoring experience that puts the user completely in the center of the action.
Monitoring is achieved via SmartPhones, Tablets or Virtual Reality headsets. The user can navigate either by pointing their mobile display device in any direction, or finger-based gesture control of the mobile device’s touchscreen. Both a speaker and mic are built-in for two-way communication. Video storage is available in the camera itself and via the cloud.
The ALLie Home camera is bundled with the ALLie Virtual Reality headset for a package price of $599 (MSRP) which includes one year free cloud storage from the company. The headset is compatible with Smartphones ranging from 3.5 to 5.7-inches in screen size (diagonal measurement), which sit snuggly behind the front cover. With adjustable precision optics, and leveraging the high-definition display of the Smartphone, performance is crystal clear.
ALLie Home: the first video surveillance camera to leverage social media for security purposes
Via the ALLie App, the ALLie Home camera can live stream to the ALLie VR headset. It is also first on the market to instantly share live video to YouTube 360, and instantly share recorded video to Facebook News Feed. (Both You Tube and Facebook have a 360-initiative that allows users to view 360-degree videos without the need of any special hardware or App).
The benefits of being able to capture 360x360 video of crime events, abductions, amber alerts, suspects, accidents, etc. and share to the social media outlets is revolutionary and will prove to be a tremendous asset.
The immersive viewing capabilities, live sharing, and freedom to “spherically” monitor via mobile devices and VR headsets all come together to make the ALLie Home Camera and VR headset package leaps and bounds beyond the popular Dropcam and Nestcam home video monitoring cameras, which now, pale in comparison.
These many category-leading attributes of the ALLie camera / VR headset package benefit the security systems professional in that they create lucrative new residential and small business sales opportunities.
