Just in time for Indoor Air Quality Awareness Week (May 1st-5th), it's the industry's first device to combine carbon monoxide (CO) detection with indoor air quality monitoring (IAQ)* — sensing multiple airborne threats to home health and safety from a single, Wi-Fi-enabled alarm. It provides the convenience of a plug-in with the intelligence and control of a smart alarm. The easy-to-read LCD display provides a quick way to understand CO information and device status, and the Kidde app allows you to easily test your alarm and Smart Hush false alarms when you aren't home.
SAFETY SIMPLIFIED:
CO + IAQ detection with no hardwiring required.
Simply plug this Wi-Fi-enabled device into a standard outlet for detection of multiple airborne threats to home health and safety — like mold-causing humidity and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs) which can impact the health and comfort of your family over time. You'll receive real-time alerts via the Kidde app if carbon monoxide or indoor air quality issues are detected in your home.
What affects your home's air quality?
Indoor air quality (IAQ) is affected, in part, by TVOCs, or Total Volatile Organic Compounds which emit from cleaning products, cooking, paint, etc. A mobile alert is sent when high levels are detected with tips on how to clear the air. Our devices with IAQ monitoring also notify you when your home's humidity levels are high enough to be conducive to mold growth and recommend steps to remedy the situation.
HOME SAFETY COLLECTION:
A smarter approach to whole home safety.
The CO + IAQ plugin alarm above is part of an entire suite of smart home safety devices, detecting smoke, carbon monoxide, water leaks, frozen pipes, and indoor air quality issues – helping to keep your whole home and family safer.
