DENVER, COLORADO, September 07, 2023 - Trinity Basin Preparatory (TBP), a leading Pre-K-12 grade free public charter school, is introducing enhanced safety and security for its 6,700-plus students with the adoption of SafeZone technology from CriticalArc.
SafeZone is a unified technology platform for safety, security, emergency management, and wellbeing support and is the leading solution in the education and healthcare sectors.
TBP has confirmed the introduction of SafeZone as part of its commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students and staff at its 12 campuses in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
SafeZone's panic button function now enables all TBP’s authorized personnel to request immediate assistance at the touch of a button. SafeZone’s intuitive interface and user-friendly features make the technology easy to use in any emergency. Users have the reassurance of knowing that help is just a fingertip away.
SafeZone’s Command and Control functions ensure the fastest possible response, allowing more efficient coordination of the school's 12 Safety Response teams, comprising school principals, medical, and security resource officers. The moment a user activates the duress button on the SafeZone app, their identity and location are shared with the TBP Safety Department for a rapid coordinated response. The system allows two-way communications, as well as mass-communications and targeted-communications to specific groups as defined by location or responsibility.
In the control room and on first responder mobile handsets, SafeZone shows the locations and identities of any users calling for assistance and maps the locations of all responders, speeding up team actions and making coordination more effective.
The decision to implement SafeZone was the result of extensive research and evaluation of various safety technologies in the market. TBP was impressed by SafeZone's track record of success at numerous educational institutions in Texas and across the U.S.
