ASIS International announces 2015 Accolades Award winners

IoT, ready-for-integration products and services well represented

ASIS International on Wednesday announced the winners of its 2015 ASIS Accolades Awards, which were dominated by Internet of Things and ready-for-integration products and services. ASIS Accolades is an awards competition that recognizes the security industry’s most innovative new products, services and/or solutions.

The 10 winners will be shown at the ASIS International 61st Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2015), Sept. 28–Oct.1 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.  More than 20,000 security, business and government professionals from more than 90 countries are expected to attend ASIS 2015.

A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated all entries and selected this year’s winners.

“The Internet of Things is highly visible among this year’s submissions,” observed Accolades Co-Chair Ron Lander, CPP.

“Innovative, ready-for-integration entries offer a glimpse into some of today’s newest and most exciting offerings. ASIS 2015 attendees will see a vast array of products and services to advance risk mitigation in the exhibit hall this year, along with this year’s Accolades winners,” noted Co-Chair Howard Belfor, CPP.

The Accolades Awards will be presented at a networking luncheon on Monday, Sept. 28. All entrants have been invited to display their entries in the Accolades Showcase in the exhibit hall (Booth #573), and they can be previewed online now at the Accolades site.  Additionally, the winning entries will be highlighted, along with other new products, during the Seminar’s “What’s New on the Floor” session, on Monday, Sept. 28 at 1:45 p.m. Voting for the People’s Choice Award Accolade will open on Monday as well. The award will be presented at the networking luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Attendees may vote via the mobile application or via voting kiosks in the Accolades Showcase, Registration, ASIS booth, and Connection Lounge.
