Mississauga, Ontario June 26, 2012 – VCR, Inc.'s newly released 1M_WDR series of Megapixel Wide Dynamic Range cameras featuring extra sensitive CMOS sensor that can capture crystal clear pictures under various lighting conditions. With a special night mode, it allows viewing scenes at night in full color at 1280x800 pixels without requiring any IR illuminations, ideal for outdoor applications.
About the size of a dollar coin & 15mm height with a lens, the 1M_WDR will fit in tight spots that ordinary cameras cannot. Consuming about 1 Watt of power, it generates little heat and uses no moving parts. It’s small size also means that it is not subject to vibration even under strong winds. It is practically maintenance free.
Easy connection to low cost and low power MV2A Server allows easy access to vivid colors captured from this camera to be sent to VGA monitors for display, to hard drives for recording as well as over the IP network for file sharing and to display onto remote devices such as iPhone/iPAD and Androids.
To speed up time to market, the company offers an SDK which help OEM customers to speed up the integration of this camera into the customer’s own systems.
For OEM customers, it also offers the 1W_WDR in a standard board camera format so that they can also use their existing camera housing for this camera, making it easier and faster to market.
