On the Path to Operational Excellence in Security Business School Discipline and Security Thought Leadership
Renton, WA - Monday, February 3, 2014 - The Security Executive Council (SEC), a leader in problem-solving research and services in the risk, resilience and security solutions market, is introducing its highly acclaimed Next Generation Security Leader (NGSL) program at The Great Conversation™ in the Bell Harbor Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. The NGSL will take place on March 3, 2014 followed by faculty participation in The Great Conversation on March 4, 2014.
The program is supported by research and findings from the council’s Security Leadership Research Institute as well as the Kennesaw State and Clark School of Business. It is informed by proven security risk mitigation and leadership practices at some of the leading companies in the world such as Abbot Labs, ALCOA, American Express, Boeing, Dell, Fidelity Investments, Georgia Pacific, Kraft Foods, Microsoft, Monsanto, Starbucks and Western Union.
The theme of this year’s program is: The Path to Operational Excellence. It will address rising regulatory and organizational performance needs in a continuing fluid global risk environment. The former CSOs of Starbucks (Francis D’Addario) and Fidelity Investments (George Campbell) are emeritus faculty of the SEC and will be featured speakers in the program. The Great Conversation and the Next Generation Security Leader programs were highly attended by executives and their teams last year and it is expected to be sold out this year.
