    With the OPTW-100, you can:

    • Connect 2 Wiegand readers using the same Wiegand port

    • Connect 1 Wiegand reader to 2 Wiegand panels

    • Connect a Wiegand reader and panel with different data voltages or ground potential issues

    The upgraded OPTW-100 Wiegand Splitter is powered with 5 or 12 Vdc, so you can use the reader’s power; no separate power supply is required.
